Internet Setup Assistant
The Internet Setup Assistant provides a quick and easy way to setup your Internet connection. The following instructions should get you set up.
Click on Hard Drive > Internet > Internet Setup Assistant to launch the screen shown in Example 1.1 below:
- Click the Update button.

- At the Introduction, click the right arrow located in the bottom-right corner of the screen (Example 1.2).

Internet configuration
- Put a dot next to Add Internet configuration, then click the right arrow (Example 1.3).

Configuration name and connection type (Example 1.4)
- In the What would you like to name this configuration box, type a description for this connection, such as Internet America.
- Put a dot next to Modem.
- Click the right arrow.

- In the Which modem are you using box, select your modem.
- In the Which port is the modem connected to drop down list, select Modem Port.
- Put a dot next to Tone.
- Click the right arrow.

- In the Phone number box, type your local dialup number (found here). If you have mandatory 10-digit dialing, make sure you type the ENTIRE phone number in this box.
- In the User ID box, type your username.
- In the Password box, type your password.
- Click the right arrow.

- Regarding IP Address, put a dot next to No, then click the right arrow.

- In the Name server addr box, type 209.44.180.53. On the next line, type 209.44.180.58.
- In the Domain Name box, type airmail.net.
- Click the right arrow.

- In the Email address box, type your full email address.
- In the Email password box, type your password.
- Click the right arrow.

- In the Email account box, type username@pop3.airmail.net, where username is replaced by your actual username.
- In the Email host box, type smtp.airmail.net.
- Click the right arrow.

- In the NNTP host box, type library.airnews.net.
- Click the right arrow.

- At the final window, uncheck the Connect when finished box, then click the Go Ahead button.
You're done!
You should now be setup to connect to the Internet!
