Log in to the Modem

This section will explain how to log in to your modem using the following steps:

1. Launch your web browser.
2. Enter the URL http://192.168.1.1 or the gateway address of your DSL connection in the address bar and press Enter.

A login screen like the one below will be displayed after you connect to the user interface.

3. Enter the user name admin and password admin, and then click OK to display the user interface.

Configure Modem for PPPoE

Once logged in, you will be at the "Home" screen shown below.

• Click on the "WAN" tab on the left. There will be a default WAN Setup connection listed.

Click the "Edit" button on this connection. This will bring you to the "ATM PVC Configuration" for the connection.

• Set the VPI to 0.
• Set the VCI to 35.
• Click Next.

This will bring you to the "Connection Type" screen.

• Select PPP over Ethernet.
• Click Next.

This will bring you to a screen asking for the PPP information.

PPP Username and Password

• Enter the PPP Username and PPP Password.
• Put a check in the Keep Alive box.
• Click Next.

This will bring up the Setup Summary screen.

• Click Apply.

This will bring you back to the Home screen showing the active connection.
